After doing some research on casinos, I decide to make to working television. I followed a tutorial by Epic Games to get it working the only issue I had involved the aspect ratio. The video I used was recorded in 2.39.1 aspect ratio and my models was made with 16:9 aspect ratio in mind.

My next task was to optimise my code better to make the code more efficient and reduce file size. Using what I learnt about changing parameters in blueprints I added it the static water so I could quickly alter a material and to the mirrors which allowed me to reduce the four separate identical materials into a single blueprint.

As I was optimising I reduced the segments on the cable actor on the chandelier from ten to one as having ten segments on something that hangs straight down is a bit excessive and cause a glitch to occur where the cable actor would fling in a direction when load in.

I optimised the physics door as well by watching a tutorial by Cesar SC and reduced the number of constants used from two to one and made it close by its self which allowed me to remove the door closing blueprints. This helps optimise my blueprints further. I watched a informational video on torque by Bozeman Science to make it easier to calculate torque.

Afterwards I started creating a lift. I followed a tutorial by MrGoatsy and it worked perfectly.

Outside of work, I learnt more about shaders to see what could be done further and increase my knowledge of materials.
